One of the most important things you should know about Gary Patterson is that he has been there done that. He comes from a place of extreme compassion and even more remarkable sincere empathy. There is.zero judgment here. He is genuinely interested in helping you through the process, whatever that looks like for you. He thinks outside the box and successfully tailors your experience to your individual history and needs. I hope more people find their way to Progressive Counseling and Gary in particular. They are upfront about everything, from the first appointment the entire plan and costs were laid out and easy to understand. Every time I paid it was by credit card and it was never more or less than what was stated no matter the method of payment I chose. They kept excellent record of everything and I never felt anything other than safe and positive about the future. I knew from the word go exactly what to expect, Gary is caring and goes above and beyond for each and every person and tries so hard to help those that enter his office. I was very worried about this experience but Gary constantly reassured me I would not have to go to jail that I was doing an excellent job. I was happy to give UA's as I have nothing to hide and was eager to prove that in any way I could. I personally think if you are worried or bothered by UA's you may be trying to hide something It was a rough road dealing with my legal issues and Gary was the first person I met who smoothed that road out and made it seem not just doable but enjoyable and I realized I could stay positive and learn something or be negative and make things harder. With Gary's help I found the positive path and am so happy I did.

This place truly cares! My stress and anxiety around my DUI and subsequent consequences were killing me; Gary and his team provided true support. I always felt like I was growing and improving. I have been able to stay in contact even after treatment completion and Gary has always extended himself to help in any way he can. He is a huge reason that I am still sane through all of this. I saw him many years ago and was sober for over a decade until a recent relapse with alcohol. I was beating myself up but Gary was positive, he helped me to change my perspective and look forward. I now understand myself and my potential vulnerabilities much better than ever before, I have the tools to prevent another relapse. You have to do your part and work to remain sober and these folks will be in your corner every step of the way.

I have been through treatment at Addictions NW twice in my life. Both times were of my own volition, and I was treated like a great guy both times. It was hard to stop drinking, but with the help and support of Gary and Suzy I was able to get my life back in order. Now that I'm sober I can call them anytime I need a positive word, and I hear exactly what I need to. If you need a place to go where you are heard, this is the place. They won't let you leave without helping you take a step in the right direction.

What a wonderful and caring staff. I dealt mostly with Gary. He is wonderful how he talked to me at me and about me. Not some text stuff you get from Phy 101. Very well done in helping me. I have been clean and sober now for sometime. Only because of his and his staff. I have tried many things. But his methods sometimes a bit forcing but not to the way of making me feel bad about myself but to help me to see the big picture. Thank you Gary and all your Staff. You are AWESOME. And a good mentor for the time.
