About

Portland Metro Treatment Center is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 16420 SE Division Street in Portland, Oregon. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Portland Metro Treatment Center. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Portland Metro Treatment Center.

If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Portland Metro Treatment Center, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged Adult men, Adult women, Seniors or older adults, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.

The staff members at Portland Metro Treatment Center have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Portland Metro Treatment Center. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.

Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Portland Metro Treatment Center can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

Getting treatment is the best option when seeking a life that is free of substance abuse. Get the help required now and start living the best life possible. Contact Portland Metro Treatment Center by visiting www.methadonetreatment.com now.

I have been to 4 different methadone clinics during my recovery tenure and I can tell you this place is different, they are the best at what they do and every single person in that place cares about you as a person and your recovery. I had attended another clinic for four years before finding New Seasons, they always acted like they couldn't wait for you to mess up so that they could take from you. New Seasons isn't like that, they truly want to help you succeed. I wish that I had found them sooner but I'm grateful that I found them when I did. They saved me. The environment is so healthy, understanding, and patient. They have so many resources to help you, from helping you find clothes and a place to stay, to finding affordable health care for your pet. They really do care about you and your life. I honestly can't say enough nice things about this place. If you're looking to get into recovery or switching clinics this is the place to go. This is definitely the best clinic in the area.

PMTC is a wonderful treatment facility. The staff actually cares about YOU as an individual. You aren’t just money to them. I’ve been to Allied before and it was terrible...I never felt cared for. You are treated with dignity and respect as soon as you walk through those doors. I don’t know what I’d do or where I’d be without this wonderful treatment center and all it’s AMAZING Staff. Adam, Tina, and Jenna are the BEST!!

I attended this clinic for 2 years, and I legit got clean and stayed clean. The people that work there really care. Your not just a patient number, your a person. The fact that you are able to go up and down on your dose at your own pace is soo important. Groups are not mandatory, but there if you need/want them And the resources they offer are invaluable. They saved my life.

Clinic has a great atmosphere where you feel welcomed. Not one where you feel judged and looked down upon. Highly recommended!

Why Write A Review: I don't usually write reviews, but regarding these specific healthcare services, there is an alarming lack of information available. And many of these simple search reviews guided me in deciding what to do at times. My Experience: As a patient I've attended a variety of treatment programs and have been very frustrated by the serves I received by healthcare providers. Unfortunately, many of the clinics that accept state insurance plans struggle to provide reasonable standards of care for patients. That said, I'm a patient that generally follows recommendations and program guidelines. If that is not your intention/result, your experiences may vary. Your Experience: When evaluating your next move, first determine where your insurance is accepted and if you can afford out-of-pocket expenses. I have been extremely impressed with this particular clinic's welcoming atmosphere, professionalism, and overall quality of health care. I definitely recommend it. However, this program does not accept OHP, and I pay out-of-pocket expenses for these services. So If you have to evaluate other programs, just remember that you DESERVE quality healthcare. The World Health Organization (WHO) considers drug dependence a health concern, not a moral or criminal failure. And if you struggle with opioid use disorder, you will need regular contact with these clinic serves. So please, be very attentive about: ~Level of Professionalism toward patients ~Average wait time for medication // # of patients served ~Staff turnover rate (what kind of people/work culture exist in the space) ~Reasonable standard of requirements (what are fair expectations?) ~Quality of services rendered (if meant so, are services therapeutic?) ~Clinic atmosphere (this is very very important! Positive or Negative?) Every poorly functioning program can have great people and great programs can have some not so professional ones. Again, just remember that Opioid Use Disorder is a healthcare concern, not a criminal or moral one. And you deserve quality treatment services. So look for a good balance and demand quality treatment, because the next patient might not be able to self-advocate. Best of luck! Hope this is helpful!

Best clinic I've been to in town as far as the employees and the way you are treated goes . The only thing that's confusing is the hours. It's not open till 2 on weekdays any more. I wish they had a second location on the west side or closer in. 164 division is deep, if u don't drive.

I spent over 6 years at Portland Metro and it truly is the best Clinic by far anywhere in the world. If you are tired of feeling like Dog due then this is the Clinic for you. You will love the Director Tina She Is the most caring Director you could ever have and the rest of the Counselor are all wonderful to. I am currently going to Intergrated Health Clinic and it is living Hell. It is more Curuped than the government. It is truly the worst clinic in the world. You can't even begin to imagine how awful the staff is. Except for the new secretary and two of the Counselors it is a unbelievabley sick place to try to get clean. If you want to find a clinic that will fail you then go to Intergrated Health Clinic. I am trying to save money to be able to return to Portland Metro I miss it so much.

Recently moved here from Las Vegas, to put my old life behind me and get clean once and for all. But I knew I'd need to do something different this time around if I actually wanted a different out come... Thanks to the help of a very good friend, I found Portland Metro. I'm only into my second week of treatment here but I'm loving life again. The staff is amazing. They actually care about you and your recovery. They'll go above and beyond their job duties to make sure you and your recovery are just as important to them. I've never been to another treatment center before, but I'd hope they all have such an easy process as I had at Portland Metro. As for the cost; It is $14 per day.. Which is about $400 per month... But when you really look at everything your getting you cant beat it; Your daily methadone, Doctors Visit, Therapists.. Just a Therapist alone is around $120 PER HOUR! And if you factor what your drug habit was... I'm sure it was far more then $14 per day. Plus can you really put a price on your life and having quality to life again? Thank Portland Metro, You saved my life!!

They have a wonderful staff and patents as well it is a non judgmental environment there is a doctor present at all times it’s a very safe feeling they welcome you with open arms ready on take on the most difficult situations it is confidential and they have a very high success rate this has been probably one of the most positive changes I’ve made in my life I feel happy and proud of myself not ashamed

Why Write A Review: I don't usually write reviews, but regarding these specific healthcare services, I believe there is a distinct lack of informed knowledge out there and would like to add to it. And, in deciding what to do, I myself read many of these reviews. So I thought it only fair that I write one myself. My Experience: In the past I attended Allied Health Clinic on SE Blemont (when it was run by CRC) and CODA Treatment Recovery Clinic off burnside. Allied Health (when I attended around 2011-2014) was extremely disorganized, with a mind blowing turn-over rate, (occasionally shocking displays of unprofessional behavior among staff), and mandated groups that would pack up to 25 or so people into a room (auditorium style) and proceed in a really disingenuous manner. CODA (which I attended around 2015 is a step up from Allied Health in that they are a bit more organized and the groups are limited in size, and function as a circle -feeling like they have more genuine therapeutic value. However, until you earn take-out doses you will need to go in daily and this is a big problem if you aim to maintain a schedule. Both clinics struggle with incredible wait times and have strict hours in the morning. I have seen lines at both programs that would certainly constitute a fire hazard. As a new client at CODA, I once waited 2 hours to get my medication on a Saturday. So, if you have OHP and need insurance to cover your treatment, I recommend CODA before Allied Health. What Is This Clinic Like: On the other hand, if you are willing to pay out of pocket, your experience will be vastly improved. And, if you compare the cost of active use to the cost of paying for this medication, it's actually a much cheaper trade off. As opposed to the other two clinics (serving 300+ clients), Portland Metro Treatment Center serves (I'd estimate) around 100, so wait times are significantly shorter. And, contrary to the other clinics, (which sometimes have a prison-like feel) this one has a bright and welcoming atmosphere that makes me feel like I am getting the healthcare service I'm paying to receive. So, if you're serious about your treatment, and believe that you should be treated with respect (like the healthcare client you are), I highly recommend paying out of pocket and finding a clinic that serves a smaller population, functions effectively as a health-service provider, and has staff that you can authentically connect with. Take Away: So, I can't speak to what RAM or Bridgetown Recovery clinics are like since I have not attended either, but I can say that I would recommend a smaller (out-of-pocket expense) clinic first. And, if that's not an option, I would choose CODA before Allied Health. That said, I'm a client that generally follows recommendations and program guidelines. If that is not your intention/result, your experiences may vary drastically. Also, your experience will be overwhelmingly negative unless you are taking the medication as prescribed. If you do intend to stop taking it, I strongly recommend designing/following a plan. Best of luck with your healthcare! Hope this is helpful!

Definitely by far the best clinic in Portland and that is mostly due to the fact that they don't accept insurance so the place isn't flooded with OHP members who are still using but want free methadone. Because u have to pay so much for the methadone here I think it's a good deterrent for those who aren't as serious about getting clean. Because the Allied/CRC clinic I went to was ridiculous they had soooo many patients and hardly any staff so it would take 1-3 hours many days to dose because OHP pays for methadone and most clinics accept it so u get a lot of patients who don't want to get clean they just want free methadone and sell their Sunday take outs. This place is open 7 days a week so you have to earn even 1 take out unlike other places that give a standard 1 take out to anybody even if they're using. This place has more staff than I've seen at clinics that take insurance who have twice as many patients. There is always a staff member available at all times. Most of the time I go there is no line, but at most you might wait 10-20 mins. Rarely happens though. The staff here is superior to any staff members I've encountered at other clinics in the area. They are very friendly and helpful and they work with you and make it easy to be on methadone and have a life. If you can afford it is is worth it to go here. Unfortunately it has gotten busier than it was a few years ago but it is still 10000 times better than all the other clinics in the area. I wish they had a second location on the west side. Only annoying thing about this place is the weird hours. Monday and Wednesday they close at 11am, and Tues Thurs Fri they close at 2pm. And they never close so any holidays or sundays are only open from 8-10am. Also, the last day of the month no matter what week day it is they close at 11am. That one always gets me I often miss the last day of the month because I forget they close earlier.

Best clinic in all of Portland HANDS DOWN.. Places like CODA & Allied and Ram, ARE JOKES, do NOT care about their patients and can't even be called treatment centers. This place can. They truly care.. and yeah. They CANNOT accept insurance, otherwise they will suck and be just as awful as the other places. But if you were able to afford your drug habit, then you can afford the $14 a day to come to this clinic. They care so much here. I cannot say anything bad about this place. This place works with you. I got stable at 110 mg, and have been slowly weaning myself down. I am down to 25 mg and will be off soon! This place cares about that. If you don't want to be on methadone for your entire life, they support that! Unlike other places who are not treatment centers, who only care about making money, and want you to be on methadone for life. Which is not being clean. This place is amazing. Absolutely the best around. I truly feel terrible for people who cannot afford to go here. Because I know how vile the other clinics are here in Portland.. The other clinics don't even treat you like a basic human being. This place treats you like gold. Love them!

The best clinic around. Unfortunately it is cash pay so it is expensive but they have the best service. It's quick and efficient and the staff is amazing. Its the only clinic around that I've been to where I've never had a single problem or complaint. Unfortunately if they did accept insurance there would be much more patients and that means long wait times to dose and possibly pointless group sessions. They really are a reasonable clinic that works hard to make your experience better than anywhere else.

Quick lines, great counselors, no funny business on the side. Groups are not mandatory, you won't be triggered here. How amazing this place is outweighs the cost out of pocket. Get help today, it changed my life, I'll never look back!

Awesome place, quick and efficient, with amazing staff. They are honest, and genuinely care about you being comfortable and being helped as a quick as possible. They allow you to be in control of your treatment process. I couldn't have had a better experience.

Extremely professional. The only methadone clinic that treats you like a patient or client rather than a number that gets called out and the nurses are top notch.
